Custom Printing

Amstore can custom print your company logo, text, a number or onto the majority of USB Flash drives, USB memory sticks, USB pens, MP3 players and Memory Cards (SD & MMC Cards).

 

All that is required is the text or image sent to us as a data file in the correct format which is explained in the section logo format- how send us your logo. Printing can range from single pantone colour up to four pantone colours. The two common printing types that we use are PAD Printing and Screen Printing however certain types of USB may need to be embossed or laser etched.

 

 

Color definition:

 

Amstore only accept Pantone colours to define print colour as we have to print using spot colours.

 

 

PAD Printing
 
Pad printing is ideal for printing on plastic surfaces.  This is an indirect technique that uses self-adhesive white polyester as base material onto which silicon pads are used to apply the color imprint of the logo design. Different colors can be added to the silicon pad. The advantage of Pad Printing is in the flexibility of the silicon pad that allows for high quality printing on non-flat surfaces. This technique is widely used for promotional gift and packaging print jobs.

 

 

Screen Printing

 

Screen Printing is ideal for printing on flat surface objects of any material. Screen Printing uses a technique where the image is created by passing ink through a nylon or polyester screen where certain areas are blocked by stencil. Multi color printing requires the use of several screens (one for each color). Screen Printing is the preferred method widely used for printing of logos on variety of materials from plastic to metal.

 

 

Laser engraving:

 

Laser engraving is mostly suited for metal surfaces although can be used on some plastic services. Where Laser engraving is an option, this is specified on the product pages.

 

Laser Engraving results in a crisp sharp image and is most durable as the image or text is physically etched into the product using laser technology.
